Balinese is greatly complicated by it's caste influences, to describe the language in terms of three forms, Low Balinese, is used between friends or family and when speaking to same caste, Polite Balinese, is used for talking to superiors or strangers, High Balinese, is used to indicate respect for the person being addressed.
